WHO AM I?

GOAL SETTING CONFERENCES

There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, October 30th due to Goal Setting Conferences

Goal Setting Conferences are meetings between student, teacher and parents/guardians to discuss student learning. These conferences are important to the students as it allows them the opportunity to discuss their learning experiences, celebration items and learning needs with their teacher and parents/guardians.

We look forward to seeing you on October 30th!

SHARE THE WARMTH - SASK ENERGY CLOTHING DRIVE

SASK ENERGY SHARE THE WARMTH

 

 We will be collecting items for the Share the Warmth Campaign.

Please bring clothing donations to the school starting on

Monday, Oct. 26th through to Wednesday, Oct. 28th

 We are looking for clean, gently-used warm clothing for families in need. This includes everything from toques and mitts to jackets and ski pants.

 

Me To We Supports NICU

Through out the year the Me to We will be working with Mrs. Galbraith to help raise funds for the NICU.  This service is very important to our community and we would like to continue to support this local iniative. 

 

 

 

 

WE SCARE HUNGER - Food Bank Drive

On Thursday Oct. 22 Come dressed as your Favorite Disney Character.  Please bring a food donation to help support the

"WE SCARE HUNGER" Campaign.

 

 

 

 

Yogurt Sales    

We just finished our first yogurt sale and it was a huge success.  Within two days we were able to sell all of our Yogurt.  We will continue to sell yogurt once a month to raise money for NICU. 

 

  • Our next yogurt sale will be on Wed. Oct. 28, 2015
  • $3.00 for A Yogurt Cup
  • Sold at lunch

 

Let's Celebrate Our National Identity - Terry Fox Run

The tradition continues at Dr. A. E. Perry School.  Celebrating the work of Terry Fox is an important part of our National Identity.

Each year we try new and creative ways to raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation so Cancer research in Canada can continue. 

On Tuesday Sept. 29 the  Me to We club will be setting up an obstacle/fitness course on the school grounds to promote fun active living while collecting donations.

A loonie or any donation would be appreciated for a chance to run the course.  All students and classrooms will be given an opportunity to run the courses regardless of donation.

 

All staff and students will also particapte in a school run on Wed. Sept. 30 - From 2:45-3:30

On behalf of all the Dr. A.E. Perry teachers and staff, we would like to WELCOME all of our new and returning students to Dr. A.E. Perry School for the 2015-2016 school year.
