Our upcoming Three-Way Conferences for École Dr. A.E Perry School will take place on Monday, November 9th from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for students in Kindergarten Schedule "A" and Grades 1-8. For Kindergarten Schedule "B", Three-Way Conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 10th from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please note that there is no school for ALL students on November 9th and no school for Kindergarten students on November 10th. These conferences will be held virtually – families will select a time and we will provide a link for you to access the conference. No face to face meetings will occur, as per our direction from Regina Public Schools Division Office. We are sending additional correspondence home today not only to highlight the date of our Three-Way Conferences but also to inform our parents/guardians and school community that we will be using the Regina Public Schools Conference Manager.
The Regina Public Schools Conference Manager (https://reginapublic.schoolsoft.com) is a web-based scheduling application. Additional information regarding how to create an account and select a conference time is being sent home today. The window for Conference Manager to open will start on Wednesday, October 28th at 7:00 a.m. and close on Wednesday, November 4th at 7:00 p.m. Families NEW to École Dr. A.E. Perry School will need to use this link (https://aeperry.schoolsoft.com/login.jsf) to create a new account.
If, for whatever reason, you are unable to book an appointment on the designated Three-Way Conference date of Monday, November 9th or Tuesday, November 10th (KB), you are to contact your child’s teacher via email to arrange an alternate time for this important Three-Way Conference time.
We strongly encourage all parents/guardians to make every effort possible to meet with your son’s/daughter’s teacher on the designated dates of Monday, November 9th or Tuesday, November 10th (KB). These days have been set aside by Regina Public Schools and École Dr. A.E Perry School for our teachers to meet with you. Seeking alternate times outside of this designated day could prove to be difficult. We want to thank you in advance for your interest in your child’s education and look forward to new ways of sharing information on your son’s/daughter’s growth in school at our upcoming conferences.
We know that conference may look a little differently this year. We encourage students to participate in these conferences along with their parents but understand that in some situations, this may not be possible. We will ask you to stick within the time frame provided to you so that every parent signed up has the opportunity to receive feedback on their child's progress.
Please continue to stay informed and up-to-date with your child’s progress by using the online PowerSchool Parent Portal or by following their progress on Seesaw (primary grades) on a regular basis throughout the school year.
