Hello Panther families,
On Wednesday, September 30th, staff and students at École Dr. A.E. Perry School are asked to wear an orange shirt. Orange shirt day is a chance for all of us to commit to the spirit of reconciliation, to engage in conversations as families and as a school community about the effects of the residential school system in Canada. We have an incredible teaching staff at École Dr. A.E. Perry who have worked hard to find age appropriate resources to continue these conversations and discussions with our students. Please help us by continuing these conversations at home and helping to extend their learning beyond the classroom. Families may also click on the following LINK to access Mrs. Fiorante's Reading Room - there are many amazing resources available on that site that will help to spark follow up conversations. Thank you as always for your continued support.
